Scrambling in Snowdonia. Steve and San had a great day out on devil’s Staircase in the Idwal valley. The route winds it’s way up the face just left of Idwal Slabs to a natural break. Then continues on the face above with some exposed positions, eventually ending up on Senior’s ridge.

Climbing on the east face of Tryfan is a real mountaineering day out. Pierre always wanted to do Belle Vue Bastion, which involves climbing North Butress off Heather Terrace order to get to it. A great day out!

The first pitch and crux of Belle Vue Bastion. which is not only the crux but also requires total commitment, to get onto the slab. The second pitch involves climbing onto the nose of the buttress which is very exposed.

Guided walking on the Anglesey Coastal Path

Ray and friends enjoy a walk along the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path. The day started at South Stack in blustery, cold conditions. Eventually the sun came out, waterproofs came off and we enjoyed a glorious walk to Traerddur Bay.

Theresa says: “I would like to thank Joe for a fantastic coastal walk, wonderful guide, would highly recommend Mountaineeringjoe. Roll on August for our next adventure.” Isle of Anglesey Coastal Walk – 4th May 2013
