Lindsey rock climbing in Snowdonia. She was very relaxed on the lower off

Learning to rock climb in Snowdonia is a great experience . Lindsey and Dylan spend the day at Tryfan Bach in the Snowdonia park learning how to climb outdoors on real rock. We started the with a few single pitch climbs in the morning, then learn how to abseil, followed by Dylan doing his first multi pitch climb on Tryfan Bach. Dylan came down the route with a 200ft abseil. Dylan is a total natural on the rock. A great day. Learn how to rock climb with Mountaineering Joe.

Rock climbing in Llanberis Pass with Mountaineering Joe in Snowdonia with excellent weather. We were rock climbing Crackstone Rib in Llanberis pass. This is such an excellent climb with a great transverse on the first pitch to the edge of the rock rib. An exposed second pitch where you have to launch yourself on to the exposed rib and a committing hand traverse across the rock wall at the end. Rocking climbing with Mountaineering Joe

Rock scrambling on Cneifon Arête and learning the rope work skills required for fast scrambling is a good skills set to have. We spend the day moving fast with an Alpine style approach to rock scrambling. The first pitch of Cneifon Arête is steep rocking climbing followed by an hard to start chimney then the ground eases with delightful but very exposed rock scrambling with spikes leading on to the main ridge.

Lindsey and Dylan are preparing for the Welsh 3000s challenge at the end of the month. This week they tackled the knife edged Crib Goch ridge. Dylan was just a natural .. very relaxed as if he had done it many times and Lindsey soon got on top of it and by the end of the edge she was relaxed and flying! The Welsh 3000s will be no problems for them!

Anglesey Coastal path is stunning at the moment. Walking along the coastal path from Moelfre, passing through to Benllech, and just beyond Red wharf Bay to Llanddona in the sunshine a really good day. I have never seen the paths so dry after our great period of dry weather with no wellies necessary!
