Walking on the lower slopes of Moel Siabod in bad weather, heavy rain and high winds
Out walking on the lower slopes of Moel Siabod .
A day out walking in Snowdonia walking on the lower slopes of Moel Siabod to avoid bad weather we had a nice relaxed day considering what it could have been. There was “much room” for error here! But a great walk out of the wind and a lot of the rain in the bad weather.
Walking along the banks of the Afon Llgwy. Such a scenic walk amongst the trees. We walked up towards the summit of Moel Siabod but it was too windy to be enjoyable so we cut across country towards the quarry above Pont -Cyfyng and around to the upper Llyn Y Foel and circled around back to Pont -Cyfyng making it a circular walk. Excellent day out of the wind! Of course you need how to navigate when you go off the path!
