A great way to experience the heart of Snowdonia. You cover all the main 3000ft peaks in Snowdonia seeing some of the best panoramic views on the way through the heart of Snowdonia. Walking the Welsh 3000s over 2 days and staying in mountains huts which really adds to the whole experience. We climb Snowdon and the Glyders the first day and then the Carneddau the second day. A Great walking experience with Mountaineering Joe

The Welsh 3000s with Lindsey and Dylan on the Glyders, and with only a few more summits to go of the Welsh 3000s. Lindsey has managed easily the long hard walk up Elidir Fawr from Nant Peris. It’s the longest and hardest continuous uphill section of the Welsh 3000s. We were all glad we reached the summit eventually. Then we continued around the valley pass Foel Goch to Y Garn. An excellent day on the Glyders.

Learning to rock climb in Snowdonia is a great experience . Lindsey and Dylan spend the day at Tryfan Bach in the Snowdonia park learning how to climb outdoors on real rock. We started the with a few single pitch climbs in the morning, then learn how to abseil, followed by Dylan doing his first multi pitch climb on Tryfan Bach. Dylan came down the route with a 200ft abseil. Dylan is a total natural on the rock. A great day. Learn how to rock climb with Mountaineering Joe.

Lindsey and Dylan are preparing for the Welsh 3000s challenge at the end of the month. This week they tackled the knife edged Crib Goch ridge. Dylan was just a natural .. very relaxed as if he had done it many times and Lindsey soon got on top of it and by the end of the edge she was relaxed and flying! The Welsh 3000s will be no problems for them!

Lindsey and Dylan walking in Snowdonia on the Glyders. Lindsey wanted to walk the plateau but the Snow had come in a few days before so it turned to be Lindsey’s first winter mountain walk and she handled it with no problems. This is all preparation for the Welsh 3000s in the summer which I think she will handle it with ease! Excellent preparation Lindsey!

A perfect day out on all Snowdonia’s highest summits. The ultimate walk in Snowdonia covering the 14 peaks with the best views across Snowdonia. With perfect weather it was a joy. The walk requires a high level of fitness it has over 14,000 feet of height gain, which is walking Snowdon 6/7 times. The length of the walk between summits is about 24 miles, but the walk start to finish will top 30 miles. http://mountaineeringjoe.co.uk/mountaineering/mountain-challenges/welsh-3000s-14-peaks-challenge-in-24-hours/
