Welsh 3000s 14 peaks challenge traversing the main ridge

The Welsh 3000s over 2 days is still quite a challenge and a much more pleasant way to achieve all the peaks over 3000ft. in Snowdonia. Rachel put together a team of friends which took this challenge on. What a good job they did. The first day was Snowdon and the Glyder range and the second day the Carneddau range. It was a tough two days and they pulled through! Congratulationsits no mean challenge! A few photos have been put together showing some of the journey over the two days across every 3000ft peaks in Snowdonia. Well done everybody. Cheers Joe at Mountaineering Joe

A stunning time with Adri and Tony in Snowdonia on the Welsh 3000s in 24 hrs challenge. An endurance test in the mountains in complex ground and beautiful scenery. Adri and Tony are preparing for Kili wanted to test their endurance in the mountains. What a perfect day we had. Low winds, sunshine and of course fantastic views. Well done Adri for never giving up when her feet were sore. Thank you to both of you for a great time and of course Chris.
Cheers Joe

A couple of days of winter walking in Snowdonia with Max and Andrew. Max was in creditably fit and coped with the winter conditions well as it dropped to -10 with wind chill on Snowdon. Simply a great few days out in poor visibility but atmospheric conditions. Joe

Jelena and Danica had a hard time walking up the Watkins path on the south side of Snowdon in bad weather. Jelena had organised this as a challenge for a charity. She had set herself a great challenge as the top of the Watkins path is hard going particularly in poor weather. Jelena kept pushing on and summited Snowdon by one of the most awkward routes. Well done Jelena a great achievement because the whole day was not easy!
