Best ways to cross a stream or not ML refresher weekend. Where would you cross?

The weekend was spend looking at direct and in direct belays and anchor selection. A lot of time on Navigation using Contour interpretation navigation in order that the leader can spend time selecting the best route for their group running the navigation in the background. Hand railing natural features like gullies and ridges enable really efficient navigation on steep ground. Mark really got to grips with this and was strong on the geology and flora.

A great day out walking in South Snowdonia near Blaenau Ffestiniog on Manod Mawr and Manod Bach. Luckily the weather held and we got some beautiful views across Snowdonia. An excellent day out.

A great day out rock scrambling on the Crib Goch. Scrambling up the south ridge with it’s great rock steps and across the exposed knife edge ridge, scrambling up all the rock peaks and then on to the summit of Snowdon.
